Large enough to double as both hydration pack and odds and ends storage on daytrips, the Geigerrig Rig 1600 is perfect for hiking, backpacking or biking. Made of sturdy nylon, the pack also has ergonomic advantages including a removable waist strap, padded shoulder straps and air drive ventilation to cut down on back sweat.
The Ogwa Hydration reservoir uses an attached pressure bulb to pressurize the 100 oz. bladder, so little effort is required to get a surge of fresh water wherever it’s needed. Lightweight yet durable, the pack has enough pockets to organize your daytrip essentials as well as easily accessible, waterproof iPod storage with rubber ports for your headphones that let music out, but no water gets in.
Because the Geigerrig Rig 1600 is pressurized, the pack won’t allow water to slosh, even when emptying. To further your comfort and peace of mind, the rugged size-8 coil zippers have reflective pulls to keep you visible from behind in low light.
Don't forget about your SkullCandy High Adventure Passport free with your purchase! Featuring free ski passes, oil changes and adventure passes.

I bought the Geigerrig 1600 at a Costco promotional sale at a reduced price. I have had it for 6 months and it has become my go to day pack. it is the most comfortable day pack I own and the construction is very heavy duty. The bladder works exactly as shown in the video. The black color heats up a little in the hot sun, so I put a silver rain cover on in those conditions. It is designed and sold by an ex-Marine, and I love to support our veterans, being a Navy Veteran myself. You couldn't find a better day pack than this one
